Pompey 2-0 Villa

Well of to Gunwarf I went, not to busy so when I met Mum under the Tower we went for a drink. Bar 38 was the drinking establishment we went to. It was fine but you can't beat a good old fashioned pub. We sat in the oddest chair no back on it as such, but very high sides and it was red and looked almost out of place with the rest of the bar.
The game was as tough as I expected. Villa were I think much better that Brum but seemed not to try as hard.
Defoe neatly controlled Glen Johnson's long ball to beat the culpable Scott Carson from the edge of the box
a delightful Jermain Defoe lob it was to it was one of those that he even didn't look up he knew were the goal was.
Carson was at fault for the second when the goalkeeper's clearance ended in the back of the net via Reo-Coker. This has to be the best own goal I have ever seen and it looks better every time I watch it on TV.Carson came rushing out of his area to clear the danger posed by Muntari's through ball. The keeper kicked the ball straight at Reo-Coker and, to everyone's surprise, the ball bounced off the midfielder's toes into the back of the net.
Well another 3 points that makes it 50 now with no Sol Campbell we still looked good in defence, we will need him for the cup match. So Spurs next Play Up Pompey!!!!!!!!!!!!
