Play Up Pompey!!!!

Portmouth 0- 0 Man City

This was a very good game that we should of won, but one again at home we drew a blank.
The pub was quite a nice one but no Stella for Mum but they did have Newcastle Brown Ale good stuff. The pub looks like it has been revamped recently but after a couple of drinks we headed of for the game.

This one was on T.V. and it was only a few years ago that Pompey on T.V. was a rare and big event, but now it’s common place.
We came at Man City from the off and it felt like a goal was coming, but as the match went on it looked more like a draw. City did come to beat us and we wanted to beat them but we cancelled each other out, we would of won if only Hart had not played so well for City in goal.
Only Arsenal have managed more goals than Portsmouth in the Premier League this season and the home side's early play here showed why they have been in such free-scoring form.
City were having to withstand some substantial pressure by this point but they stood firm and Richard Dunne and Micah Richards both made key interceptions as Pompey continued to press.
And how Nugent did not score beyond me Hart was finally beaten when Pompey subsitute Nugent's shot was deflected past him off Richards but the ball ricocheted back off the inside of the post.
All in all a good point but 2 points dropped at Home again.
So a two week break until we play away at Brum Play Up Pompey!!!!!
