Portsmouth 0 - 0 West Ham

Well another game not at 3pm and as no trains were running in Pompey I decide to get down early.
So I took a slow walk to the pub up to the North End of the city, once I got to the pub I ordered my usual Newcastle Brown Ale nice. Mum arrived after a detour around Fratton and we soaked up the atmosphere in what was a very nice pub, lots of TVs some with Sky Sports News and the Chelsea game live on others good stuff good pub.

The game well it was one of those a nill nill draw, it didn’t matter how long this game went on neither team was going to score even when we got a pen at the death we missed. Green dived to his left to keep out Benjani's spot-kick after Danny Gabbidon was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box. West Ham's Nolberto Solano had earlier been guilty of two horrendous misses, the first of which was a tame header wide from Carlton Cole's cross.
I enjoyed the game bit I think we were lucky not to get beat, but our unbeaten run continues and now we are 7th in the league. So it’s Blackburn in the League cup tonight Play Up Pompey!!!! And no I am not going why? 25 quid that’s why.

Pompeygary’s Man of the Match Green fine saves and pen save England calling?
Pompeygary’s Worst Man Mwaruwari why did he take the pen silly boy!

Horse on an Island

So Pompey move the location of the new stadium project, and I for one am happy with the new site on Horsesea Island this was down to the Navy not wanting a public arena next to their new ships so it was a no go. I liked the Hard project but it had to much against it, but this new location I believe will get built. I am pleased that it looks like the stadium will not be surrounded by flats so the 36000 capacity stadium can I would think be expanded. The site itself is next to a motorway and in the middle of nowhere but in the centre of every ware as it can be seen as you drive into the city. So I await the plans to go public. the Play Up Pompey!!!!!!!!
